Frosses born businessman Tim Kelly was awarded the Honorary Freedom of the County of Donegal last Friday, December 1st, in a ceremony at County House, Lifford.
Mr Kelly was recognised for his outstanding achievements in the field of business, particularly in the telecommunications sector, for his long standing, and wide-ranging charitable efforts in Donegal and further afield, especially in supporting the Irish community in London.
Mr Kelly’s name was entered into the roll of persons so honoured making him only the 11th recipient of this distinguished award.
The ceremony was presided over by Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council, Cllr Martin Harley, Chief Executive John G. McLaughlin and the MC for the evening was Mr Liam Ward, Director of Services.
