This week’s Dunkineely/Bruckless/Killaghtee Community Notes are out.
Port Inver
Marine work has almost been completed on Inver Port pier, which sees a new slipway and a newly installed mechanical crane.
Supplied from local engineering firm, EK Marine, the crane will be a great addition to our inshore fishermen. A big thank you to the Marine section of Donegal CoCo and to the local fishermen who campaigned long for these works particularly Gary Kennedy, Kenny Ward, and Terence McHugh. Cllr Noel Jordan thanked Clíodhna Campbell, Cathal Sweeney and all their team from the Marine section for all their hard work to see this project through. They are now working on an offshore license and design so we are ready for funding in 2024 for phase 2 of this project; the extension and full development of the pier.

More exciting additions to our community centre. A new 86″ smart TV available at no extra cost when you hire the hall for any training/family gatherings/parties or any other events. Also, more new developments coming soon.
