The members of the Arranmore RNLI had a busy November assisting the public.
They were called to four separate medical evacuations in just the last few weeks, including their latest callout coming at 10 past 11 on Saturday night.
Coxswain Jimmy Early said that “as an emergency service we are happy to be involved in transporting patients in need of medical assistance. We provide a twenty four hour service all year round and ask people not to hesitate if they see someone in difficulty on the sea to dial 112 or 999 and ask for the Coast Guard. As the RNLI celebrate 200 years of saving lives in 2024 we are privileged to be part of this vital organisation.”
