Daniel O’Donnell has paid a heartfelt tribute to his late showbiz friend, Kevin Prendergast.
Prendergast, from Mayo, was a popular singing and recording artist for over five decades.
He started his career in Manchester, connecting with Irish country fans across England.
Kevin’s albums, including My Home in West and Back to County Mayo were hugely successful in the West of Ireland.
Daniel shared his sadness at Kevin’s passing yesterday and said: “Through the years Kevin and I were on many shows together. He was a true gentleman. My sympathy to his family at the sad time. Rest in Peace Kevin.”
