The northern lights are back in action again this Sunday night over Donegal.
Reports of strong colourful light are coming in from across Inishowen and beyond.
This time, the STEVE phenomenon has also appeared for some lucky skygazers. STEVE is the name given to strange purple ribbons of light that seem to accompany auroras. It’s seen as a bright smear of light, compared to the shimmering horizontal pillars of an aurora.
If the clouds are clear in your area, find a dark sky and look north, and you could be in for a treat.
