There will be a very strong Donegal force in tomorrow’s All-Britain LGFA Intermediate Championship Final between Tir Chonaill Gaels and Dunedin Connollys.
London-based Gaels, a club founded by Donegal men, will have no less than seven women from the county togging out in Pairc na hEireann, Birmingham. They are Caitlin Norrby (St Nauls), Rachel McLaughiln (Carndonagh) Amy Quigley (Muff), Denise Doherty (Malin, Captain), Sinead Friel (Fanad), Emier Alcorn (Termon) and Michelle Doherty (Malin).
The team is also managed by Termon man, Nathan McElwaine, who works for Donegal-owned construction recruitment firm, 3D Personnel.
It’s the first time in the club’s history that the ladies have progressed to this stage of the competition. After a fantastic season in London, there is no doubt this talented bunch will bring their ‘A game’ and battle it out until the final whistle.
Throw-in at 12pm tomorrow in Pairc na hEireann and you can follow the link below for live streaming of the game:

Wishing both squads and their management teams the best of luck on Saturday
