Three Ardara women are the pride of their village after scooping the trophy in ‘The 2 Johnnies’ Late Night Lock In’ parish quiz.
Martina, her daughter Theresa and their good friend Áine were pitted against Debs, Karen and Richie from Drimnagh on the RTE2 comedy show.
The quiz featured questions on uniquely Ardara/Donegal events, including wakes in the Corner House bar, (starring Stephen McCahill), the Cupan Tae festival (with support from Shaun McGuire) and the 1992 All-Ireland (featuring Anthony Molloy).
Martina, Theresa and Áine sailed through the quiz and were delighted to accept the trophy.
Donegal was well represented on last night’s programme, with Éanna McDermott from Drumkeen also wowing the crowd with his party piece!
