A person has been taken to hospital after a quad accident in Buncrana this afternoon.
Local reports suggest the incident took place in the Cockhill area.
Malin Head Coast Guard, who helped to co-ordinate the emergency response, say that members of the ambulance service, Gardaí, the fire service, Greencastle Coast Guard and the Rescue 118 helicopter all attended the scene to assist the injured person.
They were airlifted to Letterkenny University Hospital a short time ago and their condition is currently unknown.
