A special charity gig is taking place at the Lifford Courthouse this weekend, and all to raise money for the Donegal Hospice.
Donegal singer-songwriter Bri Carr is also launching her new album “Song of the Sea” at the event this Saturday the 4th of November.
Accompanying Bri will be several guests from Wild Atlantic Women, including Bernie Doherty, Buncrana (The Music Box, The Inishowen Choir of Ages), Anne Biddie, Fanad (award-winning country music songstress), Helena McNally, Letterkenny (Jazz and blues, Colmcille Gospel Choir), Maggie MacAteer, Rathmullan (Colmcille Gospel Choir, Errigal College), Audrey Coyle, Letterkenny (Coyle Family Band, Carndonagh Musical, Rainbow Theatre Group), and Micaiah Harte, Lifford (Letterkenny Music and Drama Soc).
There will also be a special appearance from Cór Ailigh under the direction of Anne Nicholls, Letterkenny, an appearance from Bri’s daughter Caela from Wild Atlantic Wains as well as a few other surprises on the night also.
Tickets for the event are €15, with proceeds to the event going to the Donegal Hospice. Doors for the event open at 7pm, with music starting on the night at 8pm.
