Saint Eunan’s College in Letterkenny is bidding farewell to three long-serving staff members as they retire at the end of October.

The trio, who have a combined service of nearly 90 years at the school, will leave behind a significant legacy.

Siobhan Melvin, the Deputy Principal, has completed an impressive 34 years of service in the teaching profession. Siobhan started at the college in 1994 and has spent 29 years with the institution.

Mary McKeever, who has been working in the office and handling accounts, has been at the college for over 30 years.

Joey Hegarty, a member of the caretaking staff, has been with St. Eunan’s for 25 years.

The trio’s dedication and commitment has been celebrated by the school community this week.

“We wish them health, happiness and further success in the next chapter of their lives. You will all be missed,” said a school spokesperson.
