Daniel O’Donnell was up to his witty ways on This Morning, leaving presenters roaring with laughter.
The Donegal legend joined Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary today to promote his new album ‘How Lucky I Must Be’.
Daniel shied away from comments that he was a heartthrob, but when asked if he still gets fans’ underwear thrown at him, he quipped: “Well, they’re just a wee bit bigger than they used to be.”

Daniel, who has had 35 years of music success, also talked about his lifelong dream of acting in Coronation Street.
Daniel made a thrilling acting debut last year in an award-winning Halloween music video “Night Of The Daniels”, but he still has his sights set on an appearance in Corrie.
“We must be able to make this happen,” said Dermot.
“Surely,” said Alison.
“I love Corrie,” Daniel said. “I used to think maybe I could have had an affair with Mavis,” he said of Mavis Wilton, played by Thelma Barlow who appeared in the show for 26 years from 1971 to 1997.
“Then, now Mary is all that’s left for me now. I thought we could go in the caravan for a wee jaunt.”
Daniel said he’d settle for any role, even as a street sweeper!
“I would even just sweep outside The Rovers with a brush, just sweeping.”
The new album ‘How Lucky I Must Be’ is out this Friday.
