Pettigo 1-05 v 0-07 MacCumhaills
Pettigo just edged MacCumhaills in this keenly contested Donegal Senior C Championship final played in Killygordon.
MacCumhaills got off to a good start with points from Brian Patton and Cathal Gallen, but Pettigo quickly hit back with an excellent Kevin Kane goal and point from Kieran McGee point to lead by two.
MacCumhaills responded well and were awarded a penalty when Patton was fouled but Chris Gallen shot wide from the spot. Two points from Barney Lafferty and one from Chris Gallen had MacCumhaills 0-05 to 1-01 at half-time.
Two quick points from Kane and John Carrigeen had Pettigo one ahead, Carrigeen and Darren O Leary exchanged points and Carrigeen put Pettigo two in front again with his third point, 1-05 to 0-06.
O Leary got his second point and then had a chance to get MacCumhaills level but was just off target and Pettigo held on to win by one, 1-05 to 0-07.
