The next meeting of the Ballybofey, Stranorlar & District Historical Society takes place at Henderson Hall next Monday evening.
This month’s special guest is local writer and Gaeilgeoir, Dubhán Ó Longáin (Duane Long).
Dubhán will give what should be a fascinating talk on Fionn MacCumhaill and the Finna in east Donegal as well as the folklore databases and archives available.
This talk is free of charge and everyone is welcome to attend. Membership of this group is rising all the time, so if you are interested in local history, come and join us.
Meetings and talks take place on the fourth Monday of the month.
The meeting is at 7.30pm in The Henderson Hall, Stranorlar, opposite the Church of Ireland and behind Robertson National School (F93 XV29).
