Daniel O’Donnell leads tributes to Declan Nerney drummer killed in crash

Daniel O’Donnell has led tributes from the country music world to Chris Bradley, a drummer for Declan Nerney’s band, who was tragically killed in a crash last night.

Bradley, a father of two aged in his thirties from County Derry, was killed in the accident in County Louth last night as the vehicle he was travelling home in, from a performance alongside Declan Nerney, tragically crashed.

Fellow members of the band, Bob Hunt and Jerome McBride, also had to be taken to hospital following the incident.

In a statement posted on Facebook, Daniel O’Donnell said that it was with “shock and sadness” that he learned of the death of Chris Bradley, and also that he was “thinking especially of Jerome and Bob and please god they will fully recover from their injuries. May god help them all at this very sad time.”

Declan Nerney also released the following statement following the tragic accident:
