Service Manager
We are looking for an experienced and motivated candidate to take over the day-to-day running of our busy Service Department in a well-established Garage.
The candidate must have prior experience in running a busy workshop, have strong customer service skills and a basic understanding of motor mechanics, parts and accessories. The Candidate must be able to organise jobs throughout the day, liaise with the Mechanics, & Parts Department to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Key role and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- With a very hands-on leadership style the Service Manager will oversee the running of the Service Department as a whole; maximising profitability, motivating and training staff to perform, and developing and improving processes and systems.
- You will ensure that all vehicle repair work is carried out within an operational framework whilst delivering first-class customer service.
- Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved and maintained
- Job Card Creation & Invoicing
- Staff Management & Time Management
- Monthly Reports/Reviews
- Good Computer Skills are essential
Salary negotiable – subject to the level of experience.

Service Advisor
We are looking for a Service Advisor to join our team in our busy Service Department in a well-established Garage in Letterkenny.
Key role and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Scheduling customer vehicle service bookings by phone, email & walk-in.
- Welcoming all customers at the Service Reception in a warm & professional manner.
- Determining Workshop availability for service, maintenance & repair work
- Processing Customer vehicles servicing and replacement vehicle if booked
- Review Vehicle and customer history to identify potential additional work requirements (such as recalls or items noted at last service)
- Communicating and agreeing progress, collection information, service needs and any additional costs with the Customer.
- Administrative processing of all paperwork associated with vehicle service, invoicing, payments, maintaining till and managing daily work in progress
- Completes any other appropriate activities as specified by the Service Manager.
What you need to have:
- Motor Sector Experience is desirable, but not essential – training and handover will be provided
- Strong communication skills
- Good attention to detail, accurately recording all relevant details
- Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and manage time effectively, particularly at peak times
- Ability to work on own initiative and when required as part of a team
- Full driving licence
- Good Computer Skills are essential
