Naomh Conaill 0-11 v 0-09 St Eunans
St.Eunans started well with two early points from Eoin Dowling and a Conor O Donnell free, but Naomh Conaill quickly replied with a super Ciaran Thompson long range effort and a John O Malley free, 0-02 apiece.
They built on that with two excellent points from play by Anthony Thompson and Jeaic Mac Ceallabhui and a second John O Malley free to lead by 0-05 to 0-02 after 19 minutes.
After they had gone scoreless for twenty four minutes St.Eunans added two quick-fire points from Conor Morrison and Eoin McGeehin to leave one in it, but with the final act of the half Anthony Thompson kicked another super point to send Naomh Conaill into the break two points ahead 0-06 to 0-04 John O Malley added his third point, his first from play to start the second-half scoring, but Conor O Donnell replied with a super long range free, 0-07 to 0-05.
Naomh Conaill then hit a purple patch of three of the next four points, Ciaran Thompson, Ethan O Donnell and Jeaic Mac Ceallabhui all scoring from play with a lone reply from CIaran Moore for Eunans, and the lead was four, 0-10 to 0-06.
Eunans then hit three in a row, Niall O Donnell, Caolan Ward and Eoin Dowling to leave just one in it, 0-10 to 0-09 and game on.
But we had just one more score, a Ciaran Thompson free and that ending the score as St.Eunans kicked a number of late wides and Naomh Conaill moved on to another final.
