Last orders were called for the final time at Sonny’s Bar in Glenties last weekend.
The long-established public house, formerly called Keeney’s, went up for sale earlier this year.
The bar went out on a high note after celebrating the Harvest Fair with plenty of live music last week.
“A big shout out to all the loyal customers, musicians and of course to all the staff who were with us from the start,” said a statement from owner Cathal Molloy.
Customers have taken time to remember good nights and special occasions in the pub, where many’s the night’s craic was had.
Sonny’s Bar is for sale via private treaty through the Henry Kee estate agency.
The property comprises of two buildings with the traditional bar on Main Street, a large basement cellar plus a three-bedroom residence on the upper floors.
