The old Cloghan Garda Station is to be leased to a local community group in Glenfin.
The barracks in Brockagh has been vacant for nearly ten years, since the then Sergeant McGrath was transferred to Ballybofey.
Local councillor, Patrick McGowan, has confirmed that the Office of Public Works (OPW) has agreed to lease the building to Donegal County Council..
“The OPW, who are in charge of garda stations across the country, and other government buildings, has agreed to lease to council who in turn will lease to the Glenfin Community Development Group,” Cllr McGowan said.
