Scott Wara has confirmed that he has left Finn Harps, barely two months after joining the club.
The defender signed for Dave Rogers’ outfit at the end of June, but failed to impress.
“Thank you to everyone @finnharpsfc1954, although our time was short lived I’ve enjoyed every moment,” he posted on his Instagram account yesterday.
“Sometimes things happen in football and it’s best to part ways. To the fans, you’ve made my time there as enjoyable as can be and hopefully I can play in front of you again under different circumstances. Thank you once again.”
A product of the Stoke City academy, Wara played with non-league side Leek Town before moving to Finn Park. He has also been capped by Fiji at international level.

It was also confirmed yesterday that Finn Harps recruit Ellis Farrar has returned to Stockport County after being impacted by injury.
The defender made the loan move to Finn Harps in February after signing his first pro-contract.
However, a hamstring injury forced his spell with Finn Harps to come to an end.
The 20-year-old returns to Edgeley Park with 16 league appearances under his belt.
