The recently formed Fintown Bowling Club hosted a very successful tournament last week.
Bowlers took part from surrounding clubs and everyone enjoyed the day.
The winners were as follows
1st prize – Gerard Glackin, Christine Scott, Andrew Diash (main pic)
2nd prize – Micheal Diash, Joey Ameron, John Bonner (below)
Prizes were presented by chairperson, Mary McGhee.
The bowls started back last week and will continue every Monday evening from 8.00pm to 10.00pm in Halla Cholmcille.
The sport is considered a great pastime for those long winter nights. New members of all ages and ability, as well as complete beginners, are always welcome to come along.
