Met Éireann has issue a Status Yellow (moderate) high temperature warning for Donegal for the next two days.
It is forecasting ‘very warm and humid weather’ on Thursday and Friday with daytime temperatures in excess of 27 degrees in many areas away from coasts. Night time temperatures will not fall below 15 degrees.
Potential impacts include heat stress, uncomfortable sleeping conditions and risk of ‘water related’ incidents.
The alert will affect the whole country and will be valid from 8am tomorrow until 8am on Saturday morning.
