Breaking: Man arrested after van ploughs into cars in centre of Bundoran

A man has been arrested and charged after a number of cars were struck by a van in the centre of Bundoran in the early hours of this morning.

The dramatic incident is said to have occurred in the West End of the town shortly after midnight. The northern registered van allegedly struck a number of parked cars, then collided with an oncoming taxi before overturning. Luckily, no one was injured, however, the taxi was severely damaged. 

Gardaí confirmed they have arrested and charged a man in his 30s in relation to road traffic offences and he is due to appear in court at a later date.
