Due to continuing business success and growth, Diver’s Hyundai now has a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Parts Assistant to join our stores team at our After Sales Department at Canal Rd, Letterkenny.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- This role will be responsible for assisting the Storeman & Workshop Manager in providing an efficient and quality service to our workshop colleagues.
- Maintain records of goods ordered and received which will include exact checking of delivered stock versus delivery dockets and original purchase orders.
- Distribute required parts and material directly to your workshop colleagues as necessary throughout the work shift.
- Monitor and maintain minimum critical stock level numbers.
Person Specification
- Committed to providing all necessary assistance to your workshop colleagues.
- Trustworthy and reliable with a positive can-do attitude.
- Willing to follow directions and work in a team environment.
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have strong organisational ability with excellent attention to detail.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Have a strong desire to work within the automotive industry.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess a good level of IT skill.
- Evidence of previous relevant experience in a comparable warehouse / stock control / customer service environment would be an advantage.
