Finn Harps hope some cup magic will put an end to their recent dismal league run.
Non-league Skerries Town travel to Finn Park tonight (KO 8pm) looking for an upset in Round 16 of the FAI Cup. A home win, however, would see Dave Rogers’ side proceed to the quarter final stage of the competition.
“So, let’s make sure we get behind the boys tonight and make sure they don’t get one, and we see ourselves safely through to the quarter finals,” a spokesperson for the club said.
Finn Harps have had plenty of cup adventures over the years, sometimes in unlikely circumstances such as their run to the semi final while in the First Division in 2014 (main pic).
