Termon has appointed a new senior manager for the remainder of the season.
At the recent club meeting, Caolan McDaid was ratified for the upcoming Intermediate Championship and the rest of the 2023 campaign.
“The club wishes Caolan, the management team and players the very best for the campaign ahead which starts on Saturday, 19th August, away to Naomh Brid,” a club statement read.
The move comes a month after the previous manager, Trevor Alcorn, was handed a 48-week suspension by the Donegal Competition Controls Committee (CCC). They took the action after reviewing video footage of an incident in which Alcorn clashed with a Red Hughs player on the field during a Division 2 match at the Burn Road in June.
