The owners of Dungloe’s Butterrock Restaurant have announced that they are to close.
The cafe, run by John Boyle and Anne McCole, has been a popular stop on Main Street for many years.
Customers were always guaranteed to see a friendly face and enjoy classic dishes, inside and al fresco.
The cafe is usually a hub of activity during the Mary from Dungloe festival too and was recently visited by the Marys.
There’s still time to pop in for a cuppa and say goodbye though, as owners confirmed that they will remain open for another few weeks to see everyone before their retirement.
In a post on Facebook, they said: “Time to say Goodbye.. We have made the very difficult decision to close the Butterrock doors one last time. We are starting to wind things up, so call in & see us.”
