It was another busy week for the members of Buncrana Golf Club.
Darren Drives away with First Prize
The competition last weekend was the Buncrana Hearts FC Open Stableford Annual Fundraiser.
The organisers would like to take this opportunity to thank all Tee Sponsors for their support and the Buncrana Golf Club for making this competition possible.
There was a good turnout over the two days and there were some great scores returned over the weekend. None was better than that of Darren McLaughlin (Larry) (13) who produced a vintage performance to shoot 46 pts. Darren shot a very impressive three over gross, which also saw him returning the best gross score of the weekend as well and in this kind of form he will be looking forward to the Captains Prize in two weeks time. The full results of the Buncrana Hearts FC Open Stableford are as follows:
1st/ Gross Darren Mc Laughlin (13) 46 pts
2nd James Gill (37) 41 pts b.o.t.
3rd Brian Bradley (12) 41pts
Best Day (Sun) Tony Mc Sherry (26) 40 pts
Visitor (North West) Mark O’ Connell (18) 38 pts
