The Letterkenny man rode home five winners – including a 155/1 double on Thursday – to land the Pat Smullen Memorial Trophy and €2,000 in prizemoney.
The two-time champion apprentice jockey confirmed himself as the leading flat jockey on Sunday when taking Joseph O’Brien’s Stromberg to the Kinlay Hostel Irish EBF Auction Series Maiden. It was his third winner of an excellent week on an O’Brien-prepared mount.
