Donegal’s Aoibheann McMonagle was chosen as one of five finalists in this year’s ‘Friday’s Most Stylish’ at the Galway Races.
Aoibheann, from Falcarragh, has had great success on the Ladies Day circuit in years gone by.
She wore a cream ruffle midi length dress (below) made from recycled polyester which she bought from Other Stories. She complimented her dress with pieces sourced from two Dublin based designers.
Her black leather gloves were designed by Paula Rowan while her black bow headpiece was created by Ashleigh Myles. Her full look ensured she stood out from the tens of thousands who attended the Friday Race Meet in Ballybrit.
Jordan Cooney from Navan, Co. Meath was announced as the winner of the Athlone Town Centre sponsored event. ‘Friday’s Most Stylish’ has proven to be one of the biggest gatherings of race going fashion lovers to date at the festival. Celebrity judges Arthur Gourounlian, TV broadcaster and creative director and Marietta Doran, Fashion Stylist and Racing Style Presenter were joined by Shirley Delahunt, Manager of Athlone Towncentre.
