Watch: Ain’t no mountain high enough for girls conquering Errigal for the first time!

The new steps up Errigal mountain have helped many people make their hiking dreams a reality.

And that was the case for Emily McClafferty-Clarke from Tory Island.

Emily, aged nine, set herself the goal of climbing Donegal’s highest peak during her summer holidays.

She brought her cousins from Galway, Sally (10) and Lucy (12) along for the experience.

With a trusty walking pole and plenty of breaks, the girls found the path very accessible.

According to Emily, it was “10/10 the best day ever!”
