Planning permission is being sought to build a new hostel in Buncrana.
The proposed development would be at Ballymacarry on the Cockhill Road.

The proposed hostel is a two-storey building that will comprise of 21 bedrooms with a mix of single, double, and family suites.
The hostel will also have a reception area, dining area, two kitchenettes, a lounge, and a laundry room. The proposed development also includes associated site works and connection to existing services.
The application was lodged by John and Martin McKinney this week and is currently at the pre-validation stage.
