One Donegal division has the lowest adult and child Covid vaccination rate in Ireland.
The Primary Course Completed rate for 5 to 11-year-olds was just 4% in Buncrana, according to the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office (CSO). It was also one of the Local Electoral Areas (LEAs) with the lowest Booster 2 vaccination rates for adults.
The Carndonagh LEA recorded a slightly higher child vaccination rate of 5%, followed by Lifford-Stranorlar at 6%, Donegal, Glenties and Milford were at 9%. Letterkenny, at 15%, recorded the highest rate in Donegal.
Stillorgan, County Dublin, had the highest child vaccination rate at 56%.
