Teams from the East Donegal Pony Club had a number of victories at the National Show Jumping Championships in Wexford.
Five riders travelled to Wexford last week, having previously qualified to compete for the Area 6 counties of Donegal, Leitrim, Sligo, Mayo, Roscommon and Longford at the Irish Pony Club National championships.
In the show jumping Teams section, Senior riders Tara Brennan from Creeslough, on Carnone Annabelle, and Ellie Simms, Milford, on Carnone Diamond Beach, joined forces with Longford’s Katie & Calum Duignan. They put in impressive performances over a challenging 1.15m Open course and claimed the 1st place position for the team.
