Parts of east Donegal have been hit with severe flooding this Saturday evening.
Castlefin and Raphoe are among the areas impacted by a deluge of rainwater.
Pictured above is flooding at the Diamond Raphoe. As of 10pm, the town has been closed to all traffic. Sandbags are urgently needed by local residents in affected areas. Emergency services are at the scene.
Meanwhile, the team at Mc Glynn’s restaurant has issued an urgent call for a slurry tanker, as Castlefin is almost impassable. Motorists are asked to avoid the area and avoid splashing water into homes.

A weather warning was issued for Donegal this evening, warning of heavy rain overnight and tomorrow.
The status yellow rain alert is in place from today (Saturday) until 11am Sunday.
