The Arranmore RNLI crew responded to six callouts for assistance to evacuate patients in need of medical attention from the island from July 2nd to July 17th.
Patients are brought to Burtonport on the lifeboat by the volunteer crew and transferred to a waiting ambulance to complete the journey to Letterkenny University Hospital.
Jamie Neeson (main pic 3rd from left), who joined the volunteer crew in December last year, said: “This is my 22nd call out since joining the crew and I’m learning something new with every call. Wishing a speedy recovery to all the people we brought to Burtonport.”
