Buncrana native Mark O’Sullivan is behind a new survivalist thriller which will have its European Premier at the 35th Galway Film Fleadh this Friday.
Mark is the Executive Producer of Jericho Ridge, an action-packed thriller, set in a remote mountain town in North Washington.
Mark has been working in film in London and the US for close to 30 years. He is also known for his work on Mystics (2003) and Dead of Winter (2014).
Jericho Ridge was uniquely filmed in Prishtina in Kosovo and features Eastenders star Zack Morris’s first entry to movie acting following his term as Keegan Butcher-Baker in the hit soap.
BAFTA winning Will Gilbey’s ‘Jericho Ridge’ follows a small-town Deputy Sheriff Tabitha ‘Tabby’ Temple played by Nikki Amuka-Bird (The Outfit, Old, Luther) who is called back from injury leave to cover the dispatch radio for the night. Alone in the station, Tabby witnesses a deadly gunfight break out between The Sheriff, the Chief Deputy and attackers via the police dash cams. A suspicious locksmith appears at the front door and is not who he says he is.
Jericho Ridgealso stars Michael Socha (The Gallows Pole, This is England, Chernobyl), Chris Reilly (Wrath of Man, Devils) Philipp Christopher (Origin, the Liberator) along with rising star Solly McLeod (Boxing Day, Boy in the Corner) and singer-songwriter Capital T.
