Donegal star Eric Roberts will be swapping social media fame for the cereal delivery game this Tuesday!
The TikToker has been enlisted to help deliver prize-wielding boxes of fibre as Virgin Media celebrates the launch of 2 Gigabit full fibre broadband in Donegal.
Eric will be in Letterkenny town centre handing out specially designed boxes of fibre cereal on Tuesday 4th July. Simply look for a giant, life-size red box of cereal and you’ll find him!
There is thousands of euro of prizes to be won for lucky homeowners who find a ‘Golden Ticket’ inside their boxes. Prizes include all-inclusive Virgin Voyage cruise tickets!
Virgin Media are also making surprise deliveries to homes across Donegal on Tuesday 4th July. Recipients will be chosen at random as locals wake up to a uniquely designed box of fibre (cereal) delivered to their doorstep between 4am-8am, with thousands of euro of ‘Golden Ticket’ prizes to be won, including for all-inclusive luxury trips on Virgin Voyage cruises, plus €500 Harvey Norman Vouchers and more!
Commenting on his role in the event, Eric Roberts said: “I’m so excited for this day of deliveries to commence in Donegal on July 4th. There will be a big Virgin Media fleet out delivering the boxes to local homes from 4am onwards, so locals will be waking up to find out if they are one of the randomly selected homes or not! And it makes it all the more exciting that there are amazing prizes up for grabs in many of the boxes.
“If you are one of the lucky ones who also finds a golden ticket in your box of fibre, there will be instructions included on how to reclaim your prize. For anyone who wins one of the all-inclusive Virgin Voyage cruise prizes, it is always two cruise tickets won together, so you can invite a loved one with you!”
With his hilarious, short-form content often surpassing the million view mark, such as the below reaching 4M views last week, Eric (alongside Tadgh Fleming) is now undeniably the two biggest straight male influencers in the country. And Eric is by far now the most followed person in Donegal.
The TikTok star has spent the last 10+ years as a special needs assistant in a local Donegal school. With a special needs nephew who he adores, this was his chosen career path due to his special relationship with his nephew.
However earlier this month he left the classroom for the last time, taking to social media in his car outside, incredibly upset about it. Calling it a ‘bittersweet moment’ as his booming TikTok and social media success has meant he had to choose between the two career paths. As his influencer/content creator life was just far too busy and now presenting daily amazing opportunities and jobs from brands and PR agencies, he just had to choose.
With his big wedding to the love of his life Niamh now quickly approaching this August, this is a huge summer for the Donegal native.
