Two school extension projects in Donegal have been today given approval to proceed to the next stage.
Minister for Agriculture, Charlie McConalogue, confirmed Finn Valley College, Stranorlar, has been approved to proceed to tender for an extension including three classroom SEN base, two SET rooms and three general classrooms.
Meanwhile, Scoil Fhionáin in Falcarragh has been approved to proceed to construction for an extension including two classroom SEN bases. Both projects are under the Additional School Accommodation Scheme.
“Confirmation of approval to proceed to tender for these school extensions is important for the school communities and will really help the school offering in these towns,” Minister McConalogue said.
“I thank the school principals, boards, staff, parents and most importantly pupils for their commitment and work to their school communities.”
