Congratulations to Natasha Adams on taking top honours in the 40th installment of the Vitality Membership Lisburn Half Marathon last week.
It was a wonderful performance in challenging conditions.
Glenswilly GAA 5K
Glenswilly GAA club hosted their annual 5 km road race last week.
The event was organised by LAC member and former Minor Board Chairman for Glenswilly GAA club, Naoise Enright, and the popular event drew quite a crowd.
The first club male to cross the line was John McCallion in a time of 15:29 thereby finishing in 2nd place while Nakita Burke was the first female to finish in a time of 16:07 and in so doing winning the women’s race.

Soon to be an LAC member Maura Liddy ran her first 5km at the Glenswilly 5km, well done Maura.
Congratulations to Sheldon Romeo who performed in the NI/Ulster Championships in Belfast recording a personal best in the 200m.
LAC meets Tuesday 5.15pm and at 6.30pm for an interval running session, Thursday evening for a hill run at 6pm, Saturday morning at 9.30am for a tempo run and Sunday morning at 8am for a long run. All runs start at the Aura. All levels catered for and encouraged.
Fit 4 Life which is run by LAC in conjunction with the Donegal Sports Partnership takes place every Monday at 5.45pm on the track at the Aura Leisure Centre Letterkenny.
The aim of the programme is to reach out to those who wish to improve their fitness and all are most welcome any Monday they choose to attend. Fit 4 Life is not about speed but fitness and the coaches from LAC particularly welcome newcomers.
