Inishowen Co-Op have proudly announced the launch of their new online store inishowencoop.com, coinciding of their 60th anniversary of delivering exceptional service to the community of the Inishowen Penninsula.

Gareth Whitmore, CEO of Inishowen Co-Op, said: “Our new digital platform is a milestone that aligns with our 60-year tradition of evolution and will add to the way we serve our community.

“This modern, user-friendly interface will enhance the way we currently engage with our customers, adding to the access of information and our wide range of products.”

As the website evolves it is planned it will offer a wealth of up-to-date information on the co-op’s services, farming advice, and latest news.

There is a click and collect service for local customers and in keeping with their stores, they invite new customers to our website to learn more about the products they carry.

Inishowen Co-op is a one stop shop for all home, garden , DIY and agri needs with premier brands, expert knowledge and great value.

Whether you are building your home, painting a room or searching for a new washing machine, Inishowen Co-Op have what you need and so much more.

The new website will make it easier for customers to view products and plan their projects in the home or the garden.

The unveiling of the new website is part of the 60th-anniversary celebrations, marking a journey that has seen Inishowen Co-Op grow from a small cooperative to an essential pillar of the local economy.

The co-operative was established in 1963 by a group of forward-thinking farmers with a mission to support the local agricultural community.

Today, it continues to uphold this mission, adapting to new challenges and embracing opportunities to continue to build the community, while providing employment as the largest retailer in the region.

“Looking back on 60 years, we are filled with great gratitude and pride for what we’ve achieved together,” Gareth said.

“It’s a testament to the power of cooperation, community, and a shared passion for Inishowen and bringing the co-op principles through to the modern day.

“As we look to the future, we remain dedicated to empowering our members and enhancing our services, with initiatives like the new website being a key part of that mission.”
