AGM
The Dunkineely Community CLG (DCL) Annual General Meeting will take place on 21st June at 7:30pm. The meeting will be held in the Dunkineely Community Centre. The AGM is open to anyone who lives in or has an interest in Dunkineely, Bruckless, Killaghtee, St. John’s Point and the surrounding area.
Come along and find out what we are up to. We are also looking for volunteer Board members. Doing work from running training courses to renovation of historic sites, the group does all kinds of things to support the community. If you can spare a handful of hours a month, and want to help the community in a variety of ways, then come along to find out more.
Bruckless NS
On Wednesday, 21st June the school will be raising their Amber Flag. The children have worked hard all year to receive this award. The school would like to invite any families, friends and members of the community to the celebration at 11am for a short ceremony to raise the flag.
Playground Map
Donegal County Council through Healthy Donegal and funded under the Healthy Ireland Round 4 Programme has launched a free convenient, pocket-sized guide to playgrounds across Donegal. The Donegal Playground Passport contains a map of Donegal with forty playgrounds numbered and listed in each Municipal District, including the Bruckless Community Playground.
Each playground is accompanied by a QR code and GPS coordinates that will take you straight to the swings and slides! The guide also includes details of some of the free or low-cost activities in the nearby area for those looking to extend their day out. Festival Committee
After the hugely successful Killaghtee Festival in 2022, we are looking to set up a new Festival Committee for the area. These volunteers will not only deliver another Killaghtee Festival in 2023, but will also be looking at other celebrations during the year.
