A new legal team has been appointed to a man accused of assaulting a teenager in Letterkenny.
Seamus Cooley is charged with assaulting Shanan Reid McDaid, causing her harm on October 15th, 2017 at Castle Street, Letterkenny.
Mr Cooley had previously complained that he could not find legal representation.
He has been represented by a number of different legal teams in the past.
At today’s sitting of Letterkenny Circuit Court, barrister Patrick O’Sullivan told the court that solicitor Daniel Kreith is now on the record for the accused.
Judge John Aylmer adjourned the case until the next sitting of the court in October.
