Buncrana Gardaí are investigating the theft of a bus from a yard at Umricam, Buncrana between Friday the 16th of June at 5.45pm and Monday the 19th of June at 8am.
The vehicle is a Ford Transit Bus registration no. ’08 DL 15315′ which had been sprayed white but its original colour is yellow and the yellow paint is shown on the front bumper.
The bus was used for parts only and was off the road. A battery was stolen from another bus that was in the yard in order to get the stolen bus up and running.
Gardaí are appealing to anybody who may have come across this vehicle on the roads or parked up to notify Gardaí. They are hopeful that someone will have seen or will see the bus because of its distinctive spray-work.
