The Inishowen village of Clonmany is paving the way for smart tourism with its new touchscreen.
The display, located at Joyce’s Centra, is a hub of information on local businesses, heritage, weather and things to do.
Locals and visitors alike can use the screen to learn what’s going on in the village or plan a sightseeing trip.
Plus there are over 50 pages of information on heritage sites and history.
Blending the old with the new, the display aims to improve visitors’ experiences in the village and surrounding area.

Designed by local man, John Bradley, the guide was commissioned by Clonmany Tidy Towns with significant support from the Minor Tourism Related Works Grant Scheme by Donegal County Council.
Martin Roddy, Secretary of Clonmany Tidy Towns, designed the app. The device itself was sourced from Interactive Displays Ireland.
Local businesses are being invited to put themselves on the map by booking some reasonably priced advertising on the platform.
Martin said: “Any money taken in will be put directly back into the community through our projects, and that benefits everybody.
“Businesses in the parish who want to get involved and advertised are welcome to get in touch with Clonmany Tidy Towns.
“We hope that with the Clonmany Festival coming, the touchscreen will soon get a lot of traffic.
“A special thanks to Joyce’s Centra for hosting the kiosk.”
