Gardaí are appealing for information following a serious road traffic collision involving a car and a Garda motorcycle in Tullygallan, Donegal Town.
The incident occurred at approximately 3.30pm on Friday last, June 16th.
The male Garda motorcyclist (aged in his 40s) was removed from the scene and taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive treatment for serious injuries.
A technical examination of the scene was completed by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to come forward. Any road users who were travelling in the area with a dash cam are asked to make this available to Gardaí.
