Teams of two or more people are being sought to volunteer to become surveyors in Donegal for the All-Ireland Car-Based Bat Monitoring Scheme.
Bat Conservation Ireland (BCI) is seeking people to cover the west Donegal area.
No ‘bat experience’ is necessary, however, enthusiasm for wildlife and map navigation skills would help. BCI will provide the equipment and training.
The two surveys take place in the second half of July and the first three weeks of August.
