Killybegs Coast Guard has welcomed the appointment of a new Officer in Charge and Deputy Officer in Charge.
Shane Mc Crudden and Ronan Mc Fadden will be at the helm of a new chapter at the station.
After a round of interviews held at the station and conducted by senior managers from HQ, Shane Mc Crudden was appointed as the Officer in Charge and Ronan Mc Fadden as the Deputy Officer in charge of the station.
It was a poignant moment, as the two lads joined the coast guard on the same day on the 10/10/2010 and nearly 13 years later, now stand side by side at the helm of the Unit.
“We as a unit congratulate you two on your appointments to your roles and wish you all the very best,” the team said.
