Witness appeal after cyclist struck by vehicle in Ballyshannon

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision involving a vehicle and a bicycle that occurred in south Donegal last week.

The incident occurred at Lower Main Street, Ballyshannon on Tuesday 6th June at approximately 1.20pm.

The cyclist had to receive medical attention for injuries sustained, none of which are believed to be life threatening.

The driver of the vehicle was not hurt.

If anybody observed the collision or if they travelled in that area around that time with a dash cam contact Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530.
