Extension projects for two Donegal schools will proceed to construction stage, Minister Charlie McConalogue confirmed today.
Both Scoil Chroine, Dungloe, and the Abbey Vocational School, Donegal town, received approval under the additional school accommodation scheme.
Scoil Chroine will build two Special Education Needs (SEN) classrooms while the Abbey will get a new general classroom and one canteen area.
“These confirmations are good news for the school communities and will improve the offering and services of the schools,” Minister McConalogue said.
“I thank Minister Norma Foley for confirming the news and for the work of the principals, the staff, students and parents of the schools for progressing these projects.”
