A Bowls Club has recently been established in Fintown, running every Monday night in Halla Cholmcille, Fintown.
Mary Mc Ghee from High Town, Fintown and Pat Walsh from Kilkenny, Leitir are the organisers of the Club.
New members are very welcome to get involved.
On Sunday 4th June a very successful bowls competition was held in Halla Cholmcille in Fintown from 2.00pm to 6.00pm. Bowlers from surrounding clubs took part in the competition.
The winners were as follows:
- 1st Prize: Pat Walsh, Sharon Sweeney
- 2nd Prize: Lawrence Herron, Margaret Bonner, John Gallagher
